Why doesn't this site have a dot-com domain?

We would love to have a .com domain like www.5reviews.com but this is just a coffee break project so we prefer to use free & decent resources. Professional service isn't necessarily required to obtain a professional domain. As long as you are reading this, we're half-way successful.

Is it a serious business?

No and Yes.

No, it's just a coffee break project, the money earned is fairly small - merely for some coffee & snack - BUT we just love that.

Yes, we are doing our best to deliver the highest quality work because we know it matters to you.

Are the reviewers qualified?

All reviewers are from various positions in a company. As a team we have knowledge about management, finance, marketing, management, and even app & web coding. As the world of apps is covering all life aspects, we look forward to learning & exploring new things. All this is to say, our reviews won't be silly or ignorant but relevant and meaningful, and of course they are on the bright side.

How many reviews can your team deliver at max?

Usually our team can deliver a minimum of 1 review and a maximum of 5 reviews for each app. Sometime we can offer up to 10 or 15 reviews as a result of asking other friends to join in a particular app review job, but we can't make any guarantee of the work quantity and quality from the 6th review on.

Can you review paid apps?

We do review both priced and free apps! If we are to review a priced app, the total cost of purchasing the app shall be included in our PayPal invoice.

If you set your app price to free for a limited-period, please tell us when you make an order. It's very important for us to download your app immediately and make a schedule for reviewing it later.

Please be noted that setting your app price to free will clear your app tracking analytic. Unless you know what you are doing, don't damage your app pricing strategy.

Please also be noted that since 2010 people who have gained an app by promo code cannot leave a review to this app. Why? ask Apple.

Price of the reviews?

• You need just 1 review? We'll do it for free.
• But 5 → 10 reviews? the cost is $1.1 each
• And more than 10 reviews? each extra might cost $3

We believe that we are charging a minimum price for a premium service :)

Which App Store do the reviews apply to?

We are mainly dealing with the U.S. App Store, but we do have U.K. Apple ID. So both U.S. and U.K. stores are supported. If you request to have our reviews shown up in both stores, please double the payment.

However, we don't have UK credit card linked to our UK Apple ID, paid apps from UK App Store are barely possible to purchase and review.

Late delivery

Occasionally we are late, or even very late to write and submit reviews. This can happen when we receive a large number of orders or when we are faced with a ton of tasks from our main job (remember that this is just an coffee-break project). Please be patient! We are always trying hard to avoid such lateness.

Another reason is that sometime there is a hiccup at the Apple back-end that delays the submissions and approvals of new reviews. In this case, you will see the ratings showing up first and reviews coming one or two days later.

Are the reviews ever disappeared?

This can be a weird question to some people, but it does happen. Everyday Apple is removing a ton of fake reviews. Fortunately, our reviews are not fake. As a legit team with real people, real devices, and real ... brains, our reviews are original and legitimate. We have never seen any of our reviews being dropped from the App Store since the beginning. Hooray!

Basically, what does updating reviews mean?

When you have successfully released an app update, all the current reviews turn old and they are moved to the all version tab. The current version tab turns blank now. Almost all people who gave reviews to your app won't bother to submit their reviews again (and again), thus we will do. What's more, we do consider new features and improvements in the update (where possible).

Do I need to inform you when my apps have just been updated?

No, you don't! We use a decent system to stay informed about your app with regard to price changes and new update releases. We usually know about the changes within 36 hours, so it can be up to 2 days delay for us to start the review update job.

Can I ask for reviews modification?

Sure you can!
